The number of Hen Harriers on the Isle of Man is on the rise.
The results come from a census carried between April and July earlier this year.
Researchers found 38 nesting sites - the highest count since 2004.
Neil Morris from Manx BirdLife said the results are pleasing but there's no room for complacency.
He added: "The Island’s uplands are under unprecedented pressure from climate change and increasing human disturbance.
"It’s imperative we do everything in our power to protect our harrier population.
"The Isle of Man is internationally recognised as a stronghold for this iconic bird of prey, and we have a duty to keep it that way".
