The Isle of Man government is donating £500,000 to the Disasters Emergency Committee’s Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.
The money will go to charities already giving support to those escaping conflict in Ukraine and its neighbouring countries, as a result of the Russian invasion.
Minister for the Cabinet Office, Kate Lord-Brennan, says donating money, rather than supplies, allows organisations to source relief items locally, ensuring quality and quick delivery to those who need them.
More information on how Manx residents can donate to the DEC humanitarian appeal can be found here.
