Isle Of Man in \'urgent need\' of a sustainable energy policy
The Isle Of Man cannot afford to to rely on gas and oil, according to Isle Of Man Friends Of The Earth who are holding a public debate tonight.
Isle Of Man Friends of the earth believe the Island faces significant impacts on its economy if it doesn't establish a sustainable energy strategy. Tonight's presentation aims to get to grips with the challenge that the island faces. Special guest will be Mike Childs, Head of Science, Policy and Research for Friends Of The Earth UK.
He says the Isle Of Man is ideally suited for a clean energy future:
