That's according to former Chief Constable Gary Roberts, in his last annual report.
The total street value of drugs recovered came to just under £2m, including over 88kg of cannabis.
Over the course of the year there were also 100 drug-driving arrests.
Each drug wipe kit costs around £16, and the cost of testing blood samples comes to around £600 - the report says officers arrested so many people, the forensic science budget was spent within the first half of the year.
