Team Isle of Man's Commonwealth Games App nearly matched Canada's success - and was ahead of Jersey by 3:1.
1400 people downloaded it during the Games which were held in Glasgow.
At the Games rivalry between countries regarding the uptake was reportedly rife - with Canada both 'shocked and amused' at being nearly level with the Island.
The country reached 1900 downloads.
