Isle of Man Bank's headquarters in Douglas may be about to undergo renovations, if a planning application is successful.
The Royal Bank of Scotland in Edinburgh has applied for permission to carry out work on the registered building on the corner of Athol Street.
In its application, the company says it wants to carry out re-roofing work including installing replacement roof lights and relaying lead gutters.
Because the building is protected, the company has also applied for registered building consent to make the changes.
