Isle of Man Bank is making customers aware of a 'Pyramid Scam' currently affecting those in the UK.
Although the organisation hasn't reported any cases on Island it's warning customers of it should it appear.
The bank has released an example of a text message on social media which some have received, and says these scam texts will often contain bad grammar and spelling.
It's added if you receive a message like this to ignore it, not reply to it and report it immediately.
