An investigation into a paedophile vicar who targeted children during his time at a Douglas church will be led by the man who looked into the Jimmy Savile case.
Ray Galloway has been appointed by the Church of England National Safeguarding Team to investigate the case of Graham Gregory, who died in prison in 2019.
Gregory was jailed in 2018 for assaulting children aged eight to 13 between 1975 and 1990.
As part of the inquiry, the Island's diocese will review record-keeping, risk management, and its response to allegations, and abuse survivors will also be able to contribute.
A report on Mr Galloway's findings will be published in full at the end of the inquiry.
