An investigation into Manx Telecom's network incidents affecting 999 calls earlier this year has found them not to be in breach of obligations.
The Communications and Utilities Regulatory Authority conducted the investigation, saying that although no breach occurred they 'would expect Manx Telecom to proactively audit its network to ensure that alarms are configured for the relevant elements of its network.'
The authority also said they expect the telecoms company to rectify faults and that they are periodically assessed for effectiveness.
The findings of the 999 calls investigation can be read online via this link.
Manx Telecom are currently still under investigation for other matters, relating to allegations of charging more for telephone lines to people who have a different broadband supplier.
