A school in Lancashire has launched an investigation after it employed a teacher who used AI to create indecent photos of children at a Douglas high school.
26 year old Liam Taylor of Darwen was teaching at Ballakermeen when he used the technology to edit photos - he'll be sentenced next month after admitting six counts of making and possessing indecent images of children.
But the Hollins School in Accrington says a background check came back clear, and he worked at the school until leaving last autumn, citing health reasons.
The school says it's now trying to discover why nothing was highlighted during its recruitment process or the criminal investigation.
