An invasive worm species has been discovered on two boats in Ramsey.
The government says it was found after the boats were removed from the water for cleaning and maintenance.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture were alerted after the boat-crane operator noticed an unusual growth on the hulls and propellors.
The non-native species could present a threat to our biodiversity, with DEFA now working with the Harbours Team to develop a response.
