Four Island-based online gaming companies are being investigated by an Island regulator.
The Gambling Supervision Commission is in dialogue with the licensees' representatives after police received a substantial number of complaints.
12Bet, Fun88, TLC Bet and 138.com withheld winnings from customers related to promotions on bets placed during Cheltenham Festival.
Objections came from residents both here and overseas - the GSC is now gathering information to resolve the complaints as quickly as possible.
