James Richard Fargher Died of Respiratory Failure
The inquest into the death of prisoner James Richard Fargher has been held this morning.
67 year old Fargher began serving a 4 year sentence earlier this year, and although he died at intensive care in Nobles it is still classed as death in custody.
The coroner of inquests revealed that his officer had confirmed cause of death was by natural causes with nothing to suggest otherwise.
The official cause was defined as respiratory failure, with his obesity and congestive cardiac failure contributing to it.
As Fargher died in custody there will be further inquest
with a jury, to be arranged at a later date.
