An inquest heard a woman was found hanging at her home in Douglas.
Nineteen-year-old Caitlin Majella Alker was found on Sunday, August 26 at her apartment in Murray’s Road.
She was discovered by police in the early morning in her bathroom.
The court heard the preliminary cause of death is due to hanging but investigations are continuing.
Caitlin was a full-time mother - Coroner of Inquests John Needham passed on his condolences to Caitlin’s family and adjourned proceedings until a date to be fixed.
