This coming weekend is renowned as being one of the busiest of the Island’s social calendar.
The Friday before Christmas sees a number of early office closures with many of the pubs full from lunchtime.
Over the years, it has earned the title "Black Eye Friday" due to the upsurge in cases of anti-social behaviour.
There will be an increased police presence on the streets this weekend.
