The public are being reminded of the punishments in place if caught vandalising election campaign banners.

The latest incidents have been reported on banner’s promoting candidates for the Middle.

The damage came following a requisition meeting in Union Mills where the four candidates faced questions from the local audience.

The Isle of Man Constabulary have said they will treat any incidents of this nature as theft or criminal damage and deal with offenders in accordance with the law.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the police station.
