People are being reminded not to damage the Island's greenlanes when out and about in the countryside.
It comes after the government received reports of motorbikes illegally driving in the likes of Beinn-Y-Phott near Brandywell - causing damage to open heathland.
Greenlanes are unsurfaced roads and paths shared with walkers, cyclists, horse riders, motorbikes and 4x4 vehicles.
The government is reminding people it’s an offence to ride or drive vehicles on the uplands, in woodlands and on beaches without permission.
DEFA Minister Geoffrey Boot says the issue will be monitored and offenders will be prosecuted where necessary.
