It could be some years yet before a bus station which finds favour with the public is actually built.
That’s according to Community, Culture and Leisure Minister Graham Cregeen who’s department this week scrapped plans to put the depot on Victoria Street.
It was an idea that hadn’t found favour with either the public or local businesses based on the busy Douglas route.
The department admits it’s back to square one and will now look to find an alternative site.
