It's been a very lively morning on the roads today, with extremely icy conditions in and around Douglas.
An area of Bray Hill was a particular hotspot with multiple collisions over a short space of time, although it's thought there were no injuries.
A band of freezing rain in the early hours had washed away the gritted roads, with a subsequent temperature drop leading to the ice.
The DoI gritters have been out again, and with the temperatures slowly rising it's thought the situation will continue to improve throughout the day.
The Mountain Road is still out of bounds, and the message to motorists is to only make essential journeys.
