Former Infrastructure Minister Michelle Haywood says she did not step down, but was sacked without notice during yesterday's cabinet reshuffle.
Chief Minister Alf Cannan replaced the Rushen MHK with Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas.
In a lengthy post on Facebook, Dr Haywood criticised his administration for what she called a number of u-turns.
Mr Cannan said he made his decision because he wanted to see the rollout of 20mph speed limits and the controversy over the Local Government Bill handled differently.
