Ian Hutchinson has made it 4 wins on the bounce and equalled Philip McCallen’s record set back in 1996.
In what was one of the closest finishes in TT history Hutchi battled back into the top spot pushing Michael Dunlop into second, who towards the end of the race looked as though he could have done it.
Scottish rider Keith Amor came in third.
Earlier in the day Klaus Klaffenbock and Dan Sayle won the Sidecar event.
