A whale spotted in Manx waters earlier this month has been identified off the Welsh coast.
Peel charity Manx Whale and Dolphin Watch says the humpback whale - a rare sight in our waters - was photographed off the Island's coast near Cranstal on January 13.
On Facebook, the organisation says it was identified by its fin and back patterning near Pembrokeshire.
Investigations are underway to see if there have been any more sightings between Scotland and Ireland, which would give invaluable information about its behaviour and travels before it reached the Isle of Man.
