Firefighters were called out in Peel last night after a pan was left on a cooker.
Crews from Peel, Kirk Michael and Douglas were called out shortly before 6pm to a house in Market Street.
They found the property empty, with a pan on a hob.
Firefighters spent around 40 minutes ventilating the house.
