Houghton suspended without pay from Infrastructure

Thursday, 19 May 2016 at 00:00

North Douglas MHK John Houghton has been suspended without pay from his role within the Department of Infrastructure.

It follows his suspension from Tynwald on Tuesday after he refused to apologise for his inappropriate conduct.

The Council of Ministers says he can't continue to act as a member for the department as he can't fulfil his role of supporting the passage of legislation through Tynwald and its branches.
