Isle of Man Post Office is hoping to get a self-service kiosk running in Ballasalla in October.
The installation of it at Clagh Vane Spar has been delayed at the request of Mannin Retail Limited (MRL) due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The postal service says the postponement will also allow the Department of Infrastructure to carry out planned upgrade works on the building whilst MRL carries out refurbishments on the shop at the same time.
Officials add, subject to the timely completion of the works, it's hoped the kiosk will be in situ and available for customers to use on October 18.
Meanwhile, residents are reminded they can still collect parcels from the store between 7am and 8pm seven days a week.
