The Water & Sewerage Authority will be carrying out a flushing exercise along its West Coast Trunk Main starting tonight, which could affect a number of households.
The work is scheduled to take place in two phases with the second happening tomorrow night.
This evening’s will be between Sulby and Glen Wyllin, which could also affect houses in Kirk Michael and Ballaugh.
Tomorrow’s will be between Douglas and Glen Wyllin, and the authority has said this could disrupt households in Farmhill, Union Mills, Glen Vine, Crosby and Greeba.
It is also possible that the water supply in these areas could become discoloured, milky white or cloudy during the exercise.
Anyone who experiences this is advised to keep running the cold kitchen tap until it becomes clear again.
If customers have any ongoing problems they’re asked to call 695949 during office hours or 695999 out of hours.
