Police are investigating after a homeowner was injured by someone trying to steal from her garden.
The wannabe thief attempted to take a bike from the front of the property on Derby Road in Douglas at 8.55pm last night.
He was disturbed and as he tried to escape pushed her to the ground - she suffered a injury to her leg and was left shaken and upset.
Officers are now appealing for help in locating the man responsible.
