People Who Have Struggled With Homelessness Will Help Spread Important Messages to 13 Year Olds
A feature on tomorrows evening edition of Granada Reports
will highlight the hidden homeless problem on the Isle of Man.
Two locals who have in the past struggled with homelessness
have put the show together, and after successfully turning their lives around they’re keen
to get some important messages across to young people.
They want to hammer home the importance of staying with your family for as long as possible and impress the grim reality of finding yourself homeless as a teenager.
Chief Executive Officer for Kemmyrk, Fiona Robinson, has said the life experience of those who have experienced homelessness first hand will be invaluable in getting the message across.
