A crane hire company has applied to expand its headquarters in Ballasalla.
Mann Crane Hire, based on the Balthane Industrial Estate, has applied for planning permission to extend its industrial unit to provide more secure parking for its vehicles.
In its application the company says the changes would also make the premises more energy efficient and improve its office.
And it says the proposals show the family-run business wants to continue its investment in the Island.
