Home Affairs vow to deliver well managed TT week

Home Affairs have said through a co-ordinated approach and the commitment of staff across all divisions of their Department, they will deliver a well managed TT Festival.

With racing officially kicking off tomorrow with the Superbikes, the emergency services will be on high alert.

Practice week has been marred with tragedy following a number of serious accidents on the open roads, resulting in fatalities.

Particular emphasis will be placed on road safety, with the police adopting a policy of early intervention and strict enforcement in support of the ‘Stay Alert. Stay Alive’ campaign.
