The Island's Home Affairs Minister Bill Malarkey has died.
Tributes are being paid to the MHK - who passed away yesterday at the age of 68 following a long illness.
Chief Minister, Howard Quayle MHK, says he's 'very saddened' by the news and on behalf of the government is passing on its deepest condolences to Mr Malarkey's family.
Meanwhile, the family is asking people to respect their privacy at this time.
