Island residents are being encouraged to light a candle on Thursday to mark Holocaust Memorial Day.
January 27 is day put aside to remember and learn about the Holocaust, Nazi persecution and further genocides.
This year's theme is 'One Day,' which involves learning from the past, celebrating the present, and taking action for a better future.
To mark the day, people are encouraged to light a candle and put it in their front window at 8pm on Thursday night.
