A church which has served Crosby for more than 850 years could be getting some much-needed attention, if planners give the go-ahead.
Churchwarden of Marown, Foxdale and Baldwin Dr Rosemary Gibson has applied to replace mortar and carry out other work at St Runius Old Church on the Garth Road.
If approved, work would be done on walls, steps, windows, gutters and a drainage channel.
The project would require both planning permission and registered building consent.
