Forecasters have issued a yellow weather warning during high tide later today.
The warning, for coastal overtopping, runs from 10.30am until 2.30pm.
Ronaldsway Met Office says winds of up to gale force could drive waves over exposed roads at high tide.
Areas most at risk include Shore Road in Rushen, and promenades in Castletown, Douglas, Laxey and Ramsey.
