An amber weather warning has been issued during high tides today and tomorrow.
The Met Office says water and debris could wash onto exposed roads from 10.55pm tonight and 11.09am tomorrow.
The strong winds tonight will become gale force tomorrow, and motorists are being warned of potential problems.
Areas affected include Shore Road in Rushen, Castletown, Laxey, Ramey and Douglas Promenades, and Fenella Beach in Peel.
