The Infrastructure Minister says he's "reasonably confident" plans for the Lord Street bus station site will now go ahead.
In the House of Keys this week Ray Harmer faced questions from North Douglas MHK David Ashford about the former bus depot - it's currently being used as a car park.
Mr Harmer said a potential developer had come forward and the department was in the process of finalising proposals.
And he said after so many false starts in the past he's now hopeful work will begin soon:
