Heysham's MP says she's had more than 100 complaints about heavy traffic around the port, which has been highlighted during TT.
Lizzi Collinge, who represents Morecambe and Lunesdale, says a new freight check-in system at the port combined with nearby roadworks is causing the problem.
She described it as "absolute chaos" - this week the Steam Packet advised bikers to turn up early to make sure they don't miss their sailing.
The Labour MP says she's been talking to port owner Peel Ports Group since February about traffic issues.
