Sailings to and from Heysham this morning and this afternoon have been cancelled.
The Steam Packet Company says due to technical issues the 8.15am Ben-my-Chree service to the Lancashire port and its return previously planned for 1.30pm will no longer go ahead.
The organisation says those booked on the morning crossing can transfer to the 7.30am Manannan service to Liverpool on a first-come first-serve basis.
Those who were due to take the afternoon service are being told to contact the Steam Packet Company after 8.30am this morning to re-arrange travel.
However, the 7.45pm voyage tonight to Heysham is currently due to depart as normal.
