An Island culture and heritage body says it owns more than 2,000 acres of land across the Isle of Man.
Manx National Heritage gave the figures in response to a Freedom of Information request about its land holdings.
It said in total it had just over 2,326 acres under its ownership - around 941 hectares - without including sites such as Peel Castle.
In its response, the organisation added its largest parcel of land is the 616-acre Calf of Man, while its smallest is Port-e-Vullen in Maughold which is under an acre.
