Police have been searching for a missing person overnight in the Groudle Glen area.
The Force had assistance from a Coastguard helicopter.
Posting to social media in the early hours, they said:
“Please be advised that due to an ongoing search for a missing person, the coastguard will be utilising a helicopter to search the areas around Groudle Glen, which may cause a disturbance to nearby residents. We ask for your patience while this search is completed. Thank you.”
No further updates have been issued.
