Helicopter Comes Down in East Baldwin Field
There’s been a helicopter crash on the Island this afternoon with miraculously no casualties.
The £300,000 chopper came down in a field in East Baldwin close to the Hospital, only the Pilot was on board, he escaped totally unscathed.
All of the emergency services attended the scene, given the damage sustained to the now written off helicopter it was amazing there was no fire.
It’s thought the pilot lives locally and was headed for Laxey.
