A coastguard helicopter was called out in the early hours of the morning for an medical transfer from Noble's Hospital.
Douglas Coastguard co-ordinated the operation with HM Coastguard teams in the UK at around 2am.
The Helicopter - Rescue 936 - was back on station ready for service again at around 4.30am.
