A weather warning for heavy rain on Island remains in place this morning.
The yellow warning from the met office which came into force yesterday afternoon is due to stay in place until 9am.
Forecasters have already warned the whole Island is expected to be affected with higher ground the most at risk.
Up to 40mm of rainfall has been possible in higher areas and up to 20mm in lower regions.
