Health Minister urges people to register for Covid-19 vaccine

The Island's Health Minister is urging anyone who's invited to register for a Covid-19 vaccine to do so.

The rollout of the Pfizer-Biontech jab began on Monday morning at the Newlands ward of Noble's Hospital with frontline health and care staff - the next to get it will be nursing home residents and the over-80s.

The minister adds they're still waiting on confirmation of the arrival of the Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine, which was approved for use in the UK on December 30.
