Efforts to remove the Health Minister from his position have failed.
David Anderson survived a vote of no confidence after a lengthy sitting of Tynwald.
Last night Tynwald Members spent over three hours debating a motion put forward by Rushen MHK Laurence Skelly.
He wanted to see Mr Anderson sacked from his ministerial role after serious concerns were raised about the state of the Island’s health service.
However Mr Skelly’s motion failed to carry.
He received nine votes of support in the House of Keys – with 15 against - and no support from the Legislative Council with all nine members voting against.
