An MHK in the south of the Island has criticised online toxicity against women.
Rushen MHK Michelle Haywood took to Facebook, saying abusive comments posted online stops young people and women from getting involved in their communities.
In her post, she says the Island deserves better than a culture where the loudest and most aggressive voices dominate.
And she adds those posting abusive comments on platforms like Facebook are easily identifiable and should realise their friends and family can see the sort of person they are and how they treat women.
