One of the Island's best-known stars is urging people to have their views heard on plans for an offshore wind farm.
The Council of Ministers is holding a public consultation about the Mooir Vannin Offshore Wind Farm, which company Orsted says would lay six to 12 nautical miles off the Island's East coast.
On Twitter, Laxey's Samanatha Barks urged people to voice their opinions about the development, which she says could see wind farms in Laxey Bay, before the consultation closes next week.
