An MHK wants to know what risk assessments have been carried out on the courtesy crossings on the capital's promenade.
Douglas North member John Wannenburgh has tabled a question for written reply to Infrastructure Minister Michelle Haywood.
He's asking about the paved crossings put in five years ago, where drivers aren't legally required to stop for pedestrians, but can do voluntarily.
Mr Wannenburgh wants to find out how many accidents or near misses have been reported, and whether a safety review's planned.
