Harrison tops leaderboard on day 3 of TT

The third qualifying session of this year's TT saw more 130mph laps but it was Dean Harrison at the top of the leaderboard with a lap of 131.767mph.

Harrison was followed by Davey Todd, with Peter Hickman quickest again in the Superstock class.

Michael Dunlop and Jamie Coward topped the Supersport and Supertwin timesheets respectively with speeds of 125.938mph and 119.775mph.

Meanwhile, Ben and Tom Birchall topped the timesheets in the sidecars at 115.663mph.

However, the final solo session of last night's practice finished early due to an incident at Laurel Bank.

It's since been confirmed rider Dave Moffitt was involved - however, he was reported to be conscious and airlifted to Noble's Hospital.

It meant the sidecar practice was delayed, but was able to get underway for one-lap.

Organisers have confirmed all five riders involved in incidents on Monday night have either been declared fit or discharged from hospital.

Looking at today -

Further qualifying sessions are due to take place tonight for the fourth TT practice.

The Mountain Road will close at Barrule Park in Ramsey from 4.45pm and from the Bungalow at 5pm.

Sidecar qualifying gets underway from 6.30pm, followed by the Superbike, Superstock & Supersport Qualifying at 7pm.

A second sidecar session is then set for 8.15pm.

Roads around the rest of the TT Course are due to shut at 6pm - they should reopen no later than 9.30pm.

Meanwhile, after a 3-year hiatus - Bushy's is back - the ten-day event at the Villa Marina Gardens officially opens at 5pm today - with 43 Manx bands playing throughout the festival fortnight.
