Douglas Coastguard were called out yesterday morning after a dog was spotted struggling in the inner harbour.
A member of the public had come across a black Newfoundland in distress, who led them to notice a Retriever in trouble in the water.
They then managed to go down onto a boat and grab hold of the dog before the Coastguard arrived to continue the rescue.
The doggy duo were safely reunited and collected by police who found their owner.
